New hosting partner

I had been planning to leave GoDaddy for a while now. The performance has been inconsistent and I've never been a fan of the way they list and sell their services as it makes it too easy to pay for something that comes free with something else you have to buy. My renewal was coming up in February so my plan was to leave them around now to allow time to work out any issues in the transition.

As it turns out, I left GoDaddy on the same day as all the Reddit inspired anti-SOPA customers left them. While not a fan of SOPA it had nothing to do with my own choice to change hosting partners. GoDaddy served me well for many years but lately hasn't been as smooth in my experience.

I moved to Green Geeks. They are 300% wind powered, good at Drupal hosting (they support most everything else too), priced right and offered free migration services. Through a series of email instructions they worked with me to migrate all my files and database and all is working well now with faster and more consistent performance already being apparent.

Have a look at Green Geeks (http://www.greengeeks.com/) if you are in need of a hosting partner and want good performance, simple pricing, helpful staff and renewable energy.
